I applaud the COGIC for distributing this statement to the public in order to separate themselves from some of the things that took place during the 107th Holy Convocation. I had to copy and paste part of their statement about same sex marriage and the one video that went viral. The glory goes to God.

Once again, my Father has awakened me in the early morning hours, 2:15 a.m. to be exact, to minister to me. Our conversation was weighty in that my heart becameheavy. He expressed He needed to show me something. He shared with me 2 events centered around the COGIC 107th Holy Convocation. At once, I felt as Jonah, I wanted to flee from this challenging ministry that God has placed before me. I found myself asking Him the whys? “Why me? Why not someone else?”
Instead of giving me a direct answer, He had me to read all four chapters of Jonah. After falling on my face, I gathered 3 valuable points from God.
1. Jonah was assigned by God what appear to Jonah to be an impossible situation. Yet, despite his impossible circumstances, he had faith in God.
2. In chapter two, Jonah was distressed concerning his God given assignment. He prayed to God and God listened and answered.
3. In chapter two, verse three, God reminded me that when we make a vow to God, (1) we are obligated to not break it (2) to fulfill it and (3) not to delay.
Jonah was obligated to fulfill his God given assignment regardless if the Ninevites respond or not. When God first approached me concerning my assignment He wanted me to accept it, but like Jonah, I initially ran from it. I wanted no part of it. But eventually I accepted it even through it appeared to be an impossible situation. I will admit, I see my ministry as a heavy burden. I am brought to tears sometimes because of the lack of love shown by some who should extend love and the sinful ways of those who need to repent. My ministry seems impossible in my eyes, but as Jonah, I have faith in God.
But tonight, after God ministered to me and had me to read the book of Jonah, He has opened my spiritual eyes and helped me to see that my focus was wrong. I was allowing the unloving reactions of a selected FEW pastors intimidate me from my calling. He helped to me to refocus my direction and acknowledge that I am only a vessel being used by God to preach to the lost and the wounded that are in need of repentance (2 Timothy 2:21). And it is not by my might or power, but the Spirit of the Lord that will enable my message to reach those who are rightly disposed for the gospel (Zechariah 4:6). LORD, FATHER, JEHOVAH GOD GIVE ME THE POWER, STRENGTH AND AUTHORITY TO FULFILL MY GOD GIVING ASSIGNMENT.

What Color Am I

I sigh when I give thought to how so many compromises
Centering their focus on the color of one’s eyes
The shape of her thighs
How high he reaches the sky
The texture and length of his or her mane
I call out sin
My God a sin

Squeezed Between Feminisms

To care too much about the color of one’s skin and not what’s within
So I pray my Father that He will soften the hearts of His people
Blind the nation’s eyes and bleach their skins
To tear down the Berlin Walls that separates us from within
So we only see one of the same
Because we all are to blame
To shave each man, woman and child’s head
And pour out the shed blood of Christ upon each head
So his glory will cause each to died to self-identity
Causing hands to interlock in unity

As the morning stars peer down from heavens
They shout in worship from what they see
The son of man running free
With bleach skin
Multicolor eyes
The glory of Christ upon their heads
And righteousness in their hearts
An ingathering of one nation, one love, one worship to glorify the King of Kings

So I ask again, what color am I
I am as transparent as the clear blue sky
The color of the wind as it blows by
As brilliant as the rainbow when it shines in its glory from up high
As dense as the rain that pours from the sky
I am a facet of color that is only visible to His eyes

I am proud of the completion of my new book, Surrendering: A Blueprint of My Life. My transparency may shock some. Either way, I am full with so much joy that God used me to birth this beautiful spiritual gem. That he thought enough of me to count me worthy to bring to light the dilemma of living the lifestyle of homosexuality.

I feel completely blessed. My songwriting career is doing well because of you and I am still experiencing more growth - new fans and followers. THANK YOU! Please exercise patience as I prepare to hit the studio with possibly two of my latest tracks - I Need You and Will Be Fine (Thinking about changing this track name to Fine).

Well, God is not done with me yet. He has inspired me to use my writing skills to write my first book, titled, Surrendering: A Blueprint of My Life. I have written professionally for regional, national and international magazines, newspapers and blogs. But writing a book? To be honest, I never had a desire to do so. But here I am. God has placed this on my heart and it is a powerful life changing masterpiece. Below is a promo video link featuring an excerpt from my new book.

An excerpt from the new book release, Surrendering: A Blueprint of My Life. There are too many unwelcoming undertones, attacks, and discouraging jesters made in spiritual messages today towards the LGBTQ community when spiritual leaders should preach messages of hope, love, restoration, and rededication. This masterpiece will not only change the world's view, but also save many lives (http://youtu.be/dhfA7b68tc0?list=UU8ySxjXo_Xbva3iITfKaMIg).
