As I write these words, I know, there will be some who will privately and maybe publicly, criticize my message. But that is ok. For my due diligence is to God and not to man.

It breaks my heart to see some Christians showing a lack of Christ-like love to all of God’s creatures in their actions and or deeds. We either shout from the mountaintop about the sins of other Christians or unbelievers with callousness. Or, we quietly retract and look on, choosing not to lovingly interfere or intervene by showing our Christian brothers or sisters from the scriptures the error of their way.

I am learning, as God is molding me as His instrument, when to sit still and when to sound the trumpet. A trumpet is sometimes used in the Bible as a supernatural accompaniment of divine interpositions [(i.e. intervene between parties), 1 Corinthians 14:1-8; Hebrews 14:1-19].

On behalf of my Christian brothers and sisters, our broken and unjust political system, unbelievers and those who claims to be Christians, but are not living according to God’s word, I pray that God intervene on all our behalf so that this madness we are all creating will stop. 

As Christians, we are called:

1. To love all people and show all dignity and respect in the process (Matthew 28:16-20; Ephesians 4:1,2; Matthew 7:1-6; Genesis 1:27; Acts 10:34; John 3:16). And through our action of love, many can be won to or back to Christ.
2. To be salt and light bearers to a dying world (Matthew 5:13-16). 

Instead, some of us have become no different in our actions like some police officers that have callously and unjustly murdered unarmed children and adults. Yes, we are not running around with loaded pistols on our hips. But, some of us are running around with the label of Christians embroidered on our chest, our Bibles on our hip and our tongues as a weapon for the purpose of destroying and killing potential sheep.

I am pleading with the body of Christ to pray, repent and reacquaint ourselves with John 2. As Christians, we need to look closer at the significance of this first miracle that Jesus performed – turning water into wine.

• That water, prior to turning into wine, represented the old way of doing things – the old system as Jesus’ disciple knew it, which was based on old rituals, traditions, systems, perspectives and practices.
• When Jesus turned that water into wine, the process he used, represented changes that Jesus was implementing – ushering in a new way that would bring about a better way of living and satisfaction.

Jesus was ushering in a new era, a new system, a new practice, a new way to serve the people. He was establishing that Christians were expected to serve people in a way that would improve their lives, their lot in life. Just as the water that Jesus converted to wine turned out to be the best tasting wine of all that was served, so too our words, actions and deeds (John 2:10).

As Christians, is our response to our political and social ills today in harmony with this new way of serving people as Jesus taught his disciples? Are we leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of people through our words, actions and deeds? Or, is our response a reflection of the God we serve in that we leave a taste that is as sweet as the wine Jesus converted from water at the Cana wedding in Galilee?

Offense Is A Sin?

Yesterday, I kept hearing God expressed the words “guilt offering” over and over. There are two aspects of guilt offering, one being the emotional outcome that God has provided us. I read Leviticus chapters 5 and 6 and 1 Samuel 6. Afterwards, I felt God needed me to settle a matter on my part, but what? Then, He took me to Matthew 5:23-25. Knowing exactly what situation my Father was referring to I immediately went to Him in my Prayer Room to be in His presence and to pray for clarity and direction. I walked out of my Prayer Room unsure what more did God wants me do concerning the matter.

I woke up this morning at 5:00 a.m. and begun my morning worship. Prepared breakfast shortly afterwards, sat down to eat and turned to Sid Roth’s program, It’s Supernatural on Roku. You guessed it. God picked up where he left off with me last night in the Prayer Room. Katie Souza was praying over guests concerning releasing the spirit of offense (http://sidroth.org/television/tv-archives/katie-souza-offenses). Days prior, I have been praying to God to release me from any responsibility concerning a matter. For him to search my heart and show me exactly whatever he needs me to do to put this matter behind me once and for all, so that I do not sin against him. After listening to Katie Souza’s sermon, I knew God needed me to deal with this spirit of offense, but how. I did not even realized that feeling offended by a wrongdoing caused by someone else was a sin.


After watching the program, I read Galatians 5:24 – 6:10 again. Now, it was clear.  As long as I was allowing myself to feel offended by the unrighteous acts of some Christians who were acting out of ignorance, then it was a sin on my part. I had a responsibility towards God, to walk in love, which I was failing to do because I was harboring feelings of offense (Galatians 6:1, 2, 9, 10). I was acting self-centered. Regardless if my name was being slandered, if a few Christians were acting unjustifiable or failing to extend Godly love, kindness or goodness themselves, out of my love for God, I must still walk in love by not feeling offended towards wrongdoing (Ephesians 4:32).

The Moon Stands Still

The moon stands still.

As a sign of who is fighting to accomplish His will.

There is no hiding place, not even the highest or lowest mountain will conceal.

The righteous’ enemies of God the Almighty when He decides to take vengeance for all souls that mere man plunder and kill.

God has heard the cries of His righteous people and He can no longer sit still.

He has seen men and women massed together to destroy, conquer and kill at their own plotting and will.

So with a shout, He orders the moon to stand still.

Just as Joshua, the son of Nun did in the Valley of Aijaloh on that mighty hill.

Men and women took flight.

As they see God’s glorious light.

Spew in defend.

To defend the meek who have not fallen asleep.

The meek that are weeping for the salvation, glory and power of God’s true and just

judgment.

His judgment!

His judgment, to put an end to the bewildment of mere men.

God sometimes gives us instructions that sometimes seem unusual and we may not understand it until the end. Sometimes He only reveals a partial understanding in the beginning and then reveals the climax, days, weeks and even months later. But when He does provide enlightenment and man has reached a full understanding of God’s hand moving and acting, all those that remain standing can only say – Glory be to God the Almighty.

Usually, I keep all His visions and dreams under lock and key, but being obedient to God’s direction, I am sharing this one.

Shortly after arriving home from Church, I heard God’s voice calling my name. “Deaidre. Come to me.” Come to the Prayer Room to be in His presence and take in instructions. At the entrance of our Prayer Room, I removed my shoes and wiped my feet. The aroma of His Presence hit me as soon as I entered the room. He called me over to the rear window. Then asked, “Deaidre, look out the window and tell me what do you see that you have never noticed before?” My eyes immediately noticed one leafless tree to the right. Its thorns stood tall and erected with very sharp looking edges. I said, “I have looked out this window hundreds of times during all seasons, but I have never noticed the large thorns on that tree before.” He asked, “anything else?” I looked around and just a few yards from the thorn tree was a dead looking peach tree with dead looking flowers that never have fallen off. I pointed to the dead looking peach tree and the dead flowers around it. I explained that section of the backyard looks out of place. He then instructed me to grab my camera, dress warm and take pictures of both trees. He will show me where to take pictures of the trees.

Once I was done, He instructed me to research the word thorns and the Holy Spirit will lead me. It led me to Numbers 33:55, which I read verses 55 and 56. Then He instructed me to read the entire chapter and then instructed me to write down this footnote reference exactly. “The warning in verses 55 and 56 became a reality, because they failed to exterminate the Canaanites (Judg. 1, 2), and the Canaanites caused Israel to become like them and be spewed out. This resulted in the Assyrian captivity of Israel (722 B.C.) and the Babylonian captivity of Judah (605 B.C.).

Then He finally said, the hour of judgment has come.
